The great River Soulcalm rushes from one side of Godsring to the other, bringing the foolhardy and the brave to write their stories in blood and sacrifice.
The Gods Make Proud

Magic in Saavd is still a rare and special gift, usually seen as the providence of the gods, which takes many forms and seems unpredictable in its manifestations. Magic is alive in the world itself and some who can feel that power both amaze and awe those who believe only what they can see and feel. Imagine then the effect and reputation of those mages who manipulate forces and energies with little apparent regard or connection to the "natural" ways of the world.
